~ Please Don't Croak ~

I have a friend who is ill and I thought I'd make him a card to cheer him up......or at least make him laugh~ I used Create A Critter for everything except the saying. I printed that out on my printer and hand cut it. Haven't done that in a long time!!! Added the swirl embossing for the "water" and raised up the frog and I was done~

~ Graduation 2012 ~

My friend asked me to make a graduation card for her. I asked her what the school colors are. Black and white! I used the Happy Graduation cartridge for most of it. The numbers can come from really any cartridge. I added some black and white twine, a couple of brads, and used my Cuttlebug to emboss the background. I used my new 5 x 7 Polka Dots embossing folder. I like the way it turned out~

~ Baby Shower ~

My friend is having a baby boy. I wanted to make a card with the same colors as the blanket I made for her shower. I used a lot of my scraps for this card, which always makes me happy. The grass was made using Straight from the Nest (I also inked the edges with brown ink), the scalloped edge using Plantin Schoolbook, and the clothesline and shirts using Straight from the Nest. I stamped the "baby" heart and cut it out, ran the blue paper thru my cuttlebug using polka dots, and threw some brown twine on there for good measure.

~ Mother's Day 2012 ~

I loved making this Mother's Day card. It was SOOOOOO easy. I used Don Juan for the rectangle part of the card and My World for the fence. I used my Gypsy to weld 2 fences together, then welded that to the rectangle. The flowers came from Country Life. The butterfly is made of twine. I used a fork to make that. ~ 1st Holy Communion ~

I needed a religious card. I found the cross in Wedding Solutions and the dove in Beyond Birthdays~ SOOOOOO easy~

~ Valentine's Day 2012 ~

With my Gypsy, I used the Cricut Lite Cartridge Love You A Latte with Wild Card to create this year's Valentine's card. I also used my Cuttlebug on the cup wth some pretty twine.

~ Thank You, Dutch Style ~

Made a thank you card for the Managers from KLM who came to bring us lunch. Used Destinations for the windmill and oval background and embossed the body of the windmill with my cuttlebug. Used Wildcard for the "thanks" and Birthday Cakes for the flowers. VERY simple card to make.

~ Christmas 2011 ~

I used the Christmas Cards Seasonal for this card. Added a little twine on the hat. Used the snowflake embossing folder and my Cuttlebug for the background. Easy.....just time consuming putting all the little pieces together.....for 85 cards!~

~ Birthday Card ~

I used the Summer in Paris cartridge to make the hot air balloons. I used my expression on the lowest speed with medium pressure to cut out the intricate parts. The houses were from the Jubilee cartridge and backed with a welded together (gypsy) white background.

~ Expression Cover ~

My Mother-in-law made me a cover for my Expression. It's all I wanted for my birthday, so I picked out the material, found a pattern online (see link), and handed her my sewing machine! :D

~ Thank You ~

My daughter was in the musical Bye Bye Birdie and wanted me to make her friends come cards. This is what I came up with. I used Gypsy Wanderings for the notes, Locker Talk for the theater mask, Songbird and Street Sign for the letters, and Songbird for the bird cage.

~ All Occasion ~

I needed a quick Sympathy card. It can be used for really anything. I just ran the card through my Cuttlebug, added ribbon and flowers, and I was done. (Sorry the picture didn't turn out very good!)

~ Happy Halloween ~

 

I used the web frame from Happy Hauntings and my gypsy to make the black card (just removed the inner web, reversed one side, and welded it together), then placed a white web over the card. Added the spider from Stretch Your Imagination and a saying on the front. It was that easy! NOT! Took me forever to make 10 cards, but it was fun~

~ Just a Note ~

This card can be used for just about occasion. I used Pagoda for everything and a swirl cuttlebug embossing folder.

~ Happy Anniversary ~

Our 21st anniversary is next Thursday.  We're leaving for Kauai tomorrow, so I had to hurry and whip up a card to take with us.  Used Spring Holiday Cards Seasonal.

My Mom & Dad bought me a laptop and I tried to find a cute way to thank them.

~ Happy 19th ~

My son turned 19 today.  He lives and breathes xbox!  Now that he's home from college, he has to fight my husband for use of it. I think he'll get his way today~

 I used Father's Day Seasonal for the controller and Life's A Party for the shot up Happy Birthday~

~ Father's Day ~

My dad is a carpenter, so this was perfect for him.  I used the Lite Handy Man Cartridge and the Father's Day Seasonal for the "Best Dad Ever"~

My husband LOVES to play his Xbox games.  He can always be found in the boy's room, the "man cave."

My Father-in-Law can always be found on his recliner watching TV.  Usually he's watching football, but in the off season, he'll watch anything.

~ Sweet 16 ~

My twins turned 16 today!!!~ I used Forever Young for most of this card.  My daughter is a girly-girl. With a little embossing and ribbon.....it was a snap~

~ Graduation 2011 ~

I made 2 graduation cards using the respective school's colors.  I liked the "Congrats" from Beyond Birthdays the best.
